My set is complete! You may recall that in my post, “Do You Know What Today Is”?, I unveiled the Versace I ♡ Baroque bathrobe. It was gifted to me as a lovely anniversary surprise from my husband. I purposed from then on that I would get the matching slippers. I got sidetracked, however, and it fell on the back burner. Today, that is no longer the case. My Versace I ♡ Baroque Slippers have at long last arrived.

These slippers are 100% cotton. Just like the robe, they too come with an RFID code to verify authenticity. First Impressions? These little puppies are super soft! They feel really nice to walk in. It’s almost like walking on a cloud. Only time will tell if that plush feeling will last over time.

Unboxing

I have to say I was a bit dismayed by this packaging. I chose the gift option, as I upcycle the boxes. The gift note was lovely but there was no actual box or even bag fron Versace. Even the envelope for the gift message was different. If you watch the unboxing of my robe, you’ll see the packaging is night and day. I’m going to assume this is because of the times we’re in currently with the supply shortages and what-not. If that’s not the case, then what’s the deal Versace? If I was to gift this to someone there woulf be no box or bag to give it to them in. Quite unusual.
