Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM

In “Neverfull,” I praised my latest handbag for the included pochette. I knew that I would add a strap or two in order to create a second handbag. It’s working like a dream!

I tote the Neverfull when my toddler is in tow. When I take her to the park or run a quick errand, I add a crossbody strap and take my pochette only. “2 For 1” will demonstrate how I take advantage of Louis’ generosity in adding a pochette to the classic Neverfull (it was added in 2013).

Tote

I used the decorative handle from my Louis Vuitton New Wave Chain Bag as a bag charm. It’s so beautiful; I knew it would come in handy! I also included one of the leather bag charms that Dior gifted me. It’s navy, so it matches the bag interior beautifully. I am in love with the whole thing!

Pochette

I added the decorative chain from my Louis Vuitton Boulogne and the crossbody strap from my Louis Vuitton Alma BB. The combination is simply perfect. That being said, the strap that comes with the pochette is beautiful, and it’s the perfect length for an instant shoulder bag. No extras required.

IMPORTANT:

This technique of transforming the pochette into a handbag only works with the empreinte leather version of the neverfull! The canvas versions do not have an open zipper pull, nor do they have a D-ring on the opposite side of the closed zipper. Please keep that in mind when making your purchasing decisions.
