I may be dating myself, using the lyrics to this throwback by Tony! Toni! Toné!. Though I was merely four years old when it was released, its sentiment makes it a classic that will stand the test of time. Today, it couldn’t be more appropriate; not only is it the anniversary of the resurrection, but it’s also my seventh wedding anniversary! Ok, my anniversary isn’t until the very end of May, but my wonderful hubby couldn’t wait to give me this present and I couldn’t wait to open it.

My husband is notorious for giving me great gifts, yet not being able to wait to give them to me. Hey, that’s one acceptable marital problem, so I’m not about to complain. He knows exactly what I like by now, so he went to Versace online. I didn’t previously have any Versace in my collection; I’m usually a Louis girl. I ❤️ Versace Baroque Bathrobe

I’m a nursing, SAHM. I need to be able to nurse at a moment’s notice. Thus, I’m frequently in a robe of some sort. I usually go for something made of lace or satin (gotta keep it sexy 🤫). So, I’m happy to add an absorbent, cotton robe to my collection. My hubs did not disappoint. This 100% cotton bathrobe is made in Italy. It comes in 7 colors and is customizable. Best of all, I can throw it in the washer and dryer; leaking breasts, vomit and blown out diapers are real. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; this isn’t just luxury, it’s real life!

I find this interesting. Is this how brands are authenticating these days? I guess there’s less paper used if no authenticity card is included. I can get with that. Looks like my hubby picked a winner.

Self-Care Sunday

Self-care is very important. In order to care for others, one must properly care for the self first. I’m so happy to recharge my batteries in this Versace bathrobe. Luxuriating in this beauty is going to be a staple of my self-care routine. Here’s to copping the matching slippers on the day of my real anniversary!
