Sugar Plum Berry Ft. Dior Pink Corolle and Chanel Palette Essentielle | MOTD | The Luxe Angel

Little Jack Horner, eat your đź’ś out!

Sugar Plum Fairy

Sugar Plum 🧚🏾‍♀️

Who didn’t love the Sugar Plum Fairy in Candyland? I’m giving major homage to the throwback board game with this look, as unintentional as it may have been. Of course, I’m still loving my Pink Corolle eyeshadow palette from Dior’s 5 Couleurs Couture line. I’ve hardly utilized color number four from the palette, so I decided to do just that. As always, I’ve included the product information for your shopping pleasure. Enjoy!

Color No. 4

Color number four is a beautiful, metallic silver. It’s quite intense, so I’ve shied away from it for the most part. That changed today as I was ready for something new.

I used four colors from the palette to create today’s makeup look. I used color number four, pictured above, on the central lid It’s the sugar in my sugar plum.

Color No. 1

I used color number one on the inner corners and the inner lids. I also used some on the inside of the lower lash line. It’s a shimmery, pink color that’s fit for a fairy.

Color No. 5

I used color number 5 in the crease and outer V. I also used it on the outside of the lower lash line. I’ve used this color from the palette most often. As the only matte shadow of the lot, it truly is the plum of the pie. I used it to line my upper eyelids as well.

Color No. 3

I used color number 3 as the brow bone highlight. This color has a shimmery, metallic finish, so I only used a tad.

Berry

Pulling double duty, I decided to use color number four as my blush as well. It’s lovely as a blush, so I highly recommend trying it as such.

Bringing more plum into the look made me wish I had a purple shade of lipstick. I then remembered that I do! I at least have something in the same family. The color from Chanel’s Palette Essentielle is a beautiful berry. I recalled that it is intended for use as a blush and a lip color. I have previously only used it as the former, so this was truly an experiment. I was pleasantly surprised.

Chanel Palette Essentielle in 160 Beige Médium

This color formula was super hydrating to the lips! It felt more like a richly colored lip balm. The feel was very reminiscent of the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Lip Balm. Since I recently ran out of mine, I’m happy to know this color from the palette is a suitable replacement.
