No. 1 De Chanel | Chanel Skincare + Beauty Haul | The Luxe Angel

We’re No. 1!

No. 1 De Chanel

I’ve been interested in trying the skincare that Chanel has to offer since my “Chanel Beauty Haul” early last year. Clean beauty and effectiveness are the attributes I’m looking for in my skin routine. So, when Chanel announced their new No. 1 De Chanel line I was easily convinced to purchase it.

No. 1 De Chanel boasts anti-aging, clean beauty and sustainable production using the red camelia flower which is said to grow year-round. Sounds like a dream right? As I’m in my early thirties, I thought it appropriate to try an anti-aging line. I also want to ensure that what I put on my skin is actually doing more good than harm. Chanel’s sustainability claims also make me feel good that my choice may have a better impact on mama Gaia.

Skincare Haul

I purchased the facial cleanser and the lotion in this haul. I decided I would get the serum and perhaps the creme at a later date, as I currently have a ton of samples I’m trying out. I did receive a sample of the serum and it felt nice. I do prefer the Chanel Hydra Beauty Micro Serum, however, as I prefer something more moisturizing. I’ve used both the No. 1 De Chanel cleanser and lotion faithfully, night and day for about two weeks. While it’s too soon to report on the anti-aging results, I must say my skin feels much softer. I’ll take that as a win for now.

Beauty Haul

In “Pink & Plump” I mentioned that I love Chanel Rouge Coco Bloom so much that I purchased another shade. Here she is! I picked up shade 114 Glow because it looked like a good, neutral shade that I could use as more of a tinted lip balm, without having to worry about it flattering my skintone. I think it turned out to be just what I was looking for! Stay tuned for an upcoming post when I’ll show it in action.

I hope you enjoyed “No. 1 De Chanel.” Will you or have you tried anything from Chanel’s latest skincare line? Leave your thoughts in the comment section!

All My Love,

The Luxe Angel
