In my previous post, I said my obsession with Chanel Beauty continues to grow. I told no lies. In my latest haul, I picked up some items I’ve been meaning to try for quite some time. I’m excited to introduce these new (to me) items. I’ll have some product information below, in case you’d like to try them for yourself. Enjoy!

Think Pink!

Chanel Joues Contraste

This powder blush from Chanel has recently undergone a reformulation. This is my first powder blush from the brand, so I won’t be able to tell if it’s the new or old formula. I’m actually happy about that; if the old formula was better, then I won’t know what I missed. If the new formula is better then I’ll be pleased all the same.

I was drawn to the color 64 Pink Explosion. Pink and brown is a lovely combination. I just imagined this beautiful, bright pink popping off of my chocolate cheekbone and I knew it would soon be mine. Here we are! Now, this blush definitely has a shimmer to it, so I’m interested to see how that finish will look when applied. Stay tuned!

Chanel Le Crayon Lèvres

I’ve been a bit timid about buying bright pink lipsticks. I’ve noticed that when others line their lips with a neutral or flesh toned lip liner it looks more flattering. I figure if I line my lips I will get the desired outcome. Enter Chanel.

I love a product that pulls double duty. This liner can also be used solo as an all over lip color. It comes with a brush on one end to help diffuse color in an ombré fashion. A sharpener is always included so there’s never a dull moment. See what I did there. 😏 Corny jokes aside, this liner is meant to be long wearing. I’m excited to put it to the test. If it’s anything like my current fave, it will live up to its promises.

Which brings me to my next and final item…

Chanel Le Rouge Duo Ultra Tenue!

This is my baby. My jam. My everything! It’s the third color I’ve bought in the past month or so. Obsessed isn’t the word. It’s the color, it’s the long wear, it’s the comfort, it’s everything! I plan on having a full blown arsenal of colors from this line of Chanel lipsticks.

Y’all, I can’t put into words how excited I am to wear this lipstick. I have been eyeing this color but didn’t pick it up in my previous hauls. I was nervous about the color even though it was screaming my name. We aren’t timid over here, so I finally pulled the trigger. I can’t wait to model her for you guys, so be on the lookout for my next “makeup of the day” aka #MOTD lookbook.

Boy De Chanel

As a sample, I selected the moisturizer from the Boy De Chanel line. I’ve previously tried the Hydra Beauty and really liked it. I’m interested to see what the brand has in store for the men out there. I came very close to purchasing the concealer from this line as well. Maybe next time, if all goes well.
