Something New

Welcome back, Luxies!

Today, I’m featuring something new (to me). I’m trying out the eyebrow pencil from Chanel, Crayon Sourcils. I’m no stranger to Chanel brow products. I’ve featured not one, but two of them in previous posts. I liked them both and would purchase them again. This time, however, I wanted to give the Crayon Sourcils a try. I kind of want to see which Chanel brow product I’ll enjoy the most. Perhaps I’ll compare them in an upcoming post. For now, let’s just unbox this little baby.

Unboxing

I have to give Chanel credit; every purchase from them makes me feel special. Their packaging is consistent whether you purchase one product or one hundred. Unboxing a Chanel item is always a complete pick-me-up.

Chanel Crayon Sourcils

I chose the color 40 Brun Cendré. It isn’t the deepest shade. There is a Noir Cendré as well. However, I don’t like my brows to look too dark, so I avoid colors with the word noir and opt for brun instead. The swatch online looked a bit light, but I trusted my instincts and still went with 40 Brun Cendré. It turned out to be the perfect match. I’ll be sure to have some follow up MOTD posts.

So far Chanel Crayon Sourcils is a very good texture. The finish isn’t intense or fake looking. It is also long wearing, as the packaging claims. I definitely recommend using the included brush for a great completed look. I’ll continue using the pencil and provide updates in the future. Stay tuned!
